Holy moly, we're going to look like fish out of water when we are trying to transition from exercise-to-exercise.
ReplyDeleteDid yesterday's workout today. I'm a day behind because I want to make sure I get to do the workouts and sometimes OPT doesn't post for the next morning in time.
ReplyDeleteSnatch 1RM: 240lbs
Today: 250lbs PR
This was a big PR for me. Went up by ten pounds, which is always nice. 300 is getting closer...

* ghd situps only to slightly past

ReplyDelete28.5 rounds.
ReplyDeleteL Pull-ups were supinated; didn't reach full ROM.

ReplyDeleteL pull up/push up-5rds
ReplyDeleteSquats/DU-7+4squats? I was a bit foggy on the rds here, I'm pretty sure I had finished 6 rds with 29 secs left and got another rd +4 squats, so 7rds + 4 squats
Box jumps/sit ups-5rds+9 situps
I didn't have my feet fully on the box for each rep, but there was full hip ext before hitting the floor on each rep.
HSPU/DU-5+1HSPU
GHD sit up/GHD B. ext-4rds+4back ext.
score-if you count only full rds & no partials, then, 5+7+5+5+4=26rds.
With partial rds it would be closer to 28 rds.
28.5 rds.
ReplyDelete1 - 5.2
2 - 7.4
3 - 5
4 - 5.2
5 - 5.7 (not entirely positive I made 5 rds...and not 4.7)

ReplyDeleteDon't know how to figure out the partial rounds to I'll just go with 26. Some exercises limited my speed but I wasn't feeling it physically today and it showed.
I saw a lot of questionable reps today (probably from me, too) so I think one of the facets of this WOD is to have your wits about you when you are rushing to pump out reps. Lots of 'watch malfuntions, missed numbers, short reps, fuzzy rounds' today so it shows the brain has to be in top shape when the world is going nuts around you. You gotta bring the A-game, fellas!
Hi Michelle, nice work today. There. You've been outed.
6/5/6/3/5 total 25
ReplyDeleteHSPU's were bad but are getting better. I need to slow down on double unders to avoid having misses.

Loved hanging with you today Coach. Thank you for everything! Kick ass on your training. And as always I love training at OPT.
It was nice to meet you Ryan, keep up the sweet efforts.
Good to see some familiar faces, hope to train with you guys next time.
Brett...really 33! That is sick! Nice work buddy!
24 rounds... that will teach me for doing a little extra yesterday.
ReplyDelete18.5 rounds.
ReplyDelete- Some slower/weaker movements in this WOD for me. Over all I feel pretty good about it, just need to work on a few things. It was cool to meet you Chad, it's nice to put a face to the posts. I would also like to thank my buddy Joe for keeping time and giving me that extra push.
Total: 25 (6/5/5/4/5) completed rounds as rx'd
ReplyDeleteOther than some missed double unders on rounds 2 and 5, I exploded with full intensity on the exercises. Hand stand pushups on the 4th round was broken into a 2/1 set. Need to continue to build endurance in that area.
