day 35/45

You cannot move forward from some idealized point in the future that has not yet arrived.
If you are to move forward, you must do it from where you are now.
Though it may not be perfect, it is plenty to get you going.
Wishing for more, or feeling resentment because you don't have more, will only waste your precious time.
Although there is no guarantee that your actions will be effective, one thing that is certain is that nothing will happen if you take no action at all.

thanks for the words of wisdom! after spending a year and a half contemplating starting my own business, i don't really understand what held me back to begin with, it was an incredibly easy and natural transition and all it took was to hear the words "just do it" from you james, and 2 months later i'm in business. thank you so much!!

when i'm lacking motivation i think of our family motto which is "Getting started is half the battle. Do things one step at a time using courage, perseverance, and determination".

on another note, i found an awesome gluten free website that i thought i should share, i made the almond crackers today (subbed some almond flour for flax and added parmesan and cayenne pepper) they were delicious!!
check it out http://www.elanaspantry.com/recipes/

Rwcorson, yesterday you talked about Wobenzyme N. Is this something you can buy online? And if you can buy it on the net where do you get yours?

Thanks.

Great reminder. Sometimes it's hard to look at where you are now and not to include where you have been or hope you'll be. This made my day.

This is timely. I work my ass off, but sometimes I see the monster number's others put up and I get a little discouraged. "Why not me" type of shit. GCFer does a great job helping me pull my head out of my ass when I get like that. I just remind myself to grind this shit out and hit it with intensity each and everytime and things will fall into place.

Justin, you can get Wobenzyme through the online store

I'm with you, David. These are good words for me to hear. I sometimes get frustrated that I am not stronger, but all I can do is work hard. It goes nicely--for me anyway--with the post a while back about the strength numbers of people doing GOMAD vs. doing it OPT's way. I have to work hard to be the best me I can be. I don't want that to sound like loser talk...don't get me wrong! But being fit is more important than specializing to me.

Joel: I hear ya. CrossFit works and OPT programming certainly works for all of us, regardless how strong, fast, or whatever. So much of this is mental, and as Im sure Garage can attest, i'm pretty mental myself. I miss 5# here or there, I tweak and suddenly I want to change everything I do and start bathing in whole milk, when I need to just crank up the intensity and shut my f'ing mouth up and be patient.

I'm 6'1 and 210# and I still think I'm not strong enough, I guess it's that constant quest for balance between strength and ability and technique. That's what keeps us coming back each morning in my cold ass garage I suppose.

I listened to a speaker recently and her saying was today is the bouncing off point for the future.
Justin, the wobenzym is available through the online store.
