for time; broad jump 300 ft; your reps = X X Double Unders DeadLift your BWT X times X Double Unders Box Jump 30" X times X Double Unders X Ring Dips X Double Unders Row X Cals
Sweet! Well if it is anything like it was back in elementary school, jump and land with your feet together over and over. Geoff won't be able to resist this one.
x=36 bwt=183 DL=185 14:19 put the damper at 10 which I figured out is not the best way to row for cals. first 3 rds of DU's were smooth, last rd many misses.
I felt strong and had that "pop" I've been missing since the qualifier. I really felt like this was my OWD today, but the double-unders killed me again. I practice them every day and I can't string together more than 5 or 6 at a time when fresh, when fatigued forget it! Tomorrow I'm recording my warm up and see what the hell I'm doing wrong.
I've been using the speed rope from Rogue Fitness and I'm about to just buy the Buddy Lee rope, but at this point it doesn't matter much...
Had to sub. Did the WOD at a globo gym in Antigonish. Not feeling stellar, lack of 100% eating and eating. X = 36. Would have been less if I had a longer place to go. Time - 11:42 Subbed 75# DB Swing for DL, I think the DL may have been easier. Subbed Jump and Reach for the BJ - jumped to app. 18 inch above max reach - that was though. Subbed Clap push-ups for Ring Dips.
12:14 as rx'd X = 31, figured I would put all my effort into every jump to make the number as low as possible, this meant a slow start but it payed off in the end.
No cali for us this year. I'm in calgary this weekend and was going to join the CFC class at 9am tomorrow if anyone else wants to join. Not sure if Chad will workout as he did the mini comp in edmonton today
I had the same strategy as DJ. Didn't feel great this morning, intensity was lacking a bit. I'm sure its nutrition related, the last couple of days have been less than stellar.
I have been following this blog and the WODs since the qualifier but haven't had the courage to post as i am definitely not a big dawg but seriously aspire to be one so thought i need to start somewhere... x=43 time 17:55 with slight assist on rds as they kill me

wow. This one is gonna be awesome! Can't wait.
Can we get a description of a proper broad jump coach?

G&K are interested because it's still snowing outside. Does CFC have a 30" box jump? Is there enough sets of rings?
