"J.T."
21,15,9 rep rounds for time;
HSPU
Ring Dips
Push Ups
crown of head to floor on HSPU; you cannot come down until arms are fully extended
biceps to rings and full extension to start and finish each rep for dips
chest to deck and arms to full extension at top of each push up
Yowza, my torso will be battered and bruised.

ReplyDelete2 hr drive in snow to work today. Next groundhog day ....Gord vs groundhog...we are about the same size. Maybe a ufc undercard event
wow...surprising as usual...plowed through the 21 HSPU in the first round, and hit the wall in the second.....

My first J.T.
ReplyDeleteTime - 24:51
13:25 this may be a PR, I can't find the last date we did this one. HSPU were limiting exercise.
ReplyDelete14:26
ReplyDeleteMy first J.T. and it was a doozy! HSPU are coming along. First round of 21's flew by in 1:35, then BAM hit a wall.
Nice times boyz! Keep up the hard work, 9of9 Benchmarks in the books :-)
first JT
ReplyDelete21:59 HSPU's were in singles and doubles, ring dips and pushups went quick.
10:40, 2 minutes slower than my PB. 21 straight HSPU out of the gate and right away dips didn't feel so good and push-ups were crap. I actually fell hard on my first rep of HSPU for round 9, by then I knew finishing would be the task.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to come away with a positive spin from a performance like that other than, "Holy f%$k I look huge from the front after I finish J.T."
I need a rest day like no other. Nice work Mack and Gord, you should be on the board!
Geoff,
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see you haven't lost your sense of humor.
First time I've ever completed this one... usually the shoulder acts up.
ReplyDelete23:45
Discovered that my handstand pushups are about 4-5" longer than my brother's because of long forearms.
Rested 3 minutes then did pullups on minute.
17 rounds + 16
Personal best!
These two workouts go well together.
10:05.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a better time than this. Secretly I wanted to be sub-9 but by the time I got to the set of 15 HSPU, I could only force one out at a time.
7:27 is insane, 4:50 (Brett's previous time) is incomprehensible.
Looking forward to the next phase of programming....
time= 12:24.
ReplyDeleteUpper body could use a break
30:42
ReplyDeletetough one....did twice the amount of regular dips as I do not have rings.
24.22
ReplyDeletejumping ring dips
handstands to 2 in foam
but legit chest to deck push-ups- yeah!!!

15 unbroken on first round of hspu. Technique on ring dips need work. Not kipping legs up with efficient upwards force. Hspu were steady singles in round 2 & 3.
Very impressive work Gord & Mack.
ReplyDeleteWelcome aboard Grant!
JT: 11:29
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've done this. Kipped the HSPU and Ring Dip.
Nice times guys
18:12 good tough workout
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to kip ring dips or hspu.
ReplyDeletewill need to learn or get my belly fat down to speed this one up.
13:21
ReplyDeletethe 15 HSPU's were nasty
10:09
ReplyDeleteAfter first 21 hspu everything got harder. All ring dips had good form, mostly sets of 3 and pushups were good too, after video review i fell off the wall too soon a few times on hspu, i have to work on that. all hspu crown of head to floor. first rd completed in 2:05. When doing this workout I had no idea what a good time was because i never look at the times beforehand, nervous that i got wrecked on this one cause of how slow the hspu were.
