"experience more than results"
wow. This one is gonna be awesome! Can't wait. Can we get a description of a proper broad jump coach?
Sweet! Well if it is anything like it was back in elementary school, jump and land with your feet together over and over. Geoff won't be able to resist this one.
x=36 bwt=183 DL=185 14:19put the damper at 10 which I figured out is not the best way to row for cals. first 3 rds of DU's were smooth, last rd many misses.
x=32, BWT=205Time: 21:16. I felt strong and had that "pop" I've been missing since the qualifier. I really felt like this was my OWD today, but the double-unders killed me again. I practice them every day and I can't string together more than 5 or 6 at a time when fresh, when fatigued forget it! Tomorrow I'm recording my warm up and see what the hell I'm doing wrong. I've been using the speed rope from Rogue Fitness and I'm about to just buy the Buddy Lee rope, but at this point it doesn't matter much...
Yet resist I will.Check this out, it's PAVED!?http://crossfitoneworld.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341bf90553ef011570c0935f970b-pi
If anyone is interested I am going to do this one at 12pm at CFC
Todd, I'll join you at 12:00
G&K are interested because it's still snowing outside. Does CFC have a 30" box jump? Is there enough sets of rings?
I will join you Todd
G & K, no worries they have everything we need.
What time will someone be at OPT tomorrow morning?
I will be there early tomorrow Giles..what time works for you. I have something at 9:30. I was thinking 7:30am
17:07bwt 175x=40I did the broad jumps on grass, huge mistake. Everything was slow today.

BW 170X=36WOD as rx'd: 8:59Thanks for the great WOD James!Glad to see that you will be at the games
bw- 155x- 3919:10had to do slow neg on the ring dips, and had to run about 100m to the rower
X=44 BWT= 152Time 15:47had some good head spins coming off the rower.Signing out today...it was cold in the car.Chad & Katrina...are you heading to Cali?
Had to sub. Did the WOD at a globo gym in Antigonish. Not feeling stellar, lack of 100% eating and eating.X = 36. Would have been less if I had a longer place to go. Time - 11:42Subbed 75# DB Swing for DL, I think the DL may have been easier. Subbed Jump and Reach for the BJ - jumped to app. 18 inch above max reach - that was though. Subbed Clap push-ups for Ring Dips.
done with everyone else almost at cfc time= 14:39tough
12:14 as rx'd X = 31, figured I would put all my effort into every jump to make the number as low as possible, this meant a slow start but it payed off in the end.
x = 43Gord 8 sounds good
7;30 works good to Gord
No cali for us this year. I'm in calgary this weekend and was going to join the CFC class at 9am tomorrow if anyone else wants to join. Not sure if Chad will workout as he did the mini comp in edmonton today
X=3514:28Took my time on the broad jumps and the box jumps. Hammered thru the DL/DU and RD's. Just tried to hold on the for the row.
X=2812:04I had the same strategy as DJ. Didn't feel great this morning, intensity was lacking a bit. I'm sure its nutrition related, the last couple of days have been less than stellar.
37/6'2"/195X=36Time: 14:51Measured this one out with a tape measure up and down the street. I didn't feel real great going into this one either.
I'll be there at 7:30 am--see you then Gman
