yeah burpees!...rest day

Oliver's First Burpees from Brendan Sonnichsen on Vimeo.

Febbers:
Sat - double
Sun - single
(both high intensity low volume tests)

Marchers:
Sat, Sun - singles - CP/ATP stuff...

I'd like to ensure that everyone who is competing has the right mind set going into next weekend. All of us here will be wishing you the courage to face pain head on and allow it to pass. Never doubt that the effort you put forth will come out at competition time. We all do this as you do, we'll be there as well, we travel in packs.

Wow I wish I had that much fun doing Burpees... Future Big Dawg in the making!!

PTS, I'm 99% sure James is letting you know the energy pathway that the workouts will be hitting.

CP and ATP refer to Creatine Phosphate and Adenosine Triphosphate. These are the key energy sources for the Phosphogen pathway, which is used for short powerful bursts of activity. Think sprints, oly lifts, etc.

Hopefully I'm not way off base here.

That is SO cute! My kids (6 & 8 years old) saw that and immediately started to do burpees all evening. Oliver is good influence!

I'll have to post my 2 year old doing snatches with a PVC pipe. She's better than I am.

I'll be in Calgary on Wednesday and Thursday of next week and would love to meet and train with some of the Dawgs in town. Any recommendations as to what might be my best bet in terms of where and at what times I could get an few OPT WODS in?
