"Randy"
for time;
75 reps - 75# power snatch
body must be at full extension at top of movement before weight can return to ground
touch and go is allowed
you MUST power snatch these...it is meant to be a light weight high rep exercise session with a "dip" to catch weight overhead and then extend legs to stand...i.e. you cannot muscle snatch

7:46 Snatch form feels better.
What kind of shoes do you guys wear for the various lifts? snatch,CJ,squat, OHS, press.
I ask b/c the arch of my feet was getting sore during workout wearing trainers.
PTS many of us at OPT bought Oly lifting shoes a while back and wear them depending on the WOD. Normally today would be a no-brainer for me to wear them but my calves have been so sore from jumping around on that floor that I may have to switch to the light runners.

I wear my Do Win Oly lifting shoes. I bought them at Wichita Falls weightlifting for 80 dollars or so. Worth every penny...

I'm about to buy some myself. I borrowed Rory's for today's WOD and they made a world of difference.
I use adidas weightlifting shoes. The are a little more expensive but they last. I have had mine for 5 or 6 years now and they still work the same.

5:26, a good minute faster than Feb of last year. Pushed it good, used a narrower grip this time to save distance on the DL.
4:29 is smokin', Rory.

See you boys at OPT in a few days.

Gave'er a good go today. Usually train alone but I had Mike, one of my clients hang out and give me a that extra push. Thanks buddy!
I use Do-Win shoes, "Red" like me:-) I love them!!
PTS, I too have had my AdiStar Black/Grey lifting shoes for 4 years now. They are on a little on the pricey side however very comfortable and well made.

Did Jeremy today. Tough one for the wrist... tried to tape, but that did nothing for the burpees so I had to tear it off before going into the burpees.
7:30... first time with this one.
thought I'd do better on this one
9:10 after about 45 reps I was into singles and doubles. So dropping the bar that many times added extra seconds as was my method of tracking reps since I knew I'd lose track.
Thanks for the cueing to keep the chest up Mike.
6:53 with 51#
I'm not as comfortable with this lift so I spend too much time setting it up.
away for the barbell cert last weekend so I have some catch up to do:
21-15-9 of 95 lb ohs+burpees Time: 4:54

4:16... found some time to sneak away on call.

Has anyne heard an update on the "Every Second Counts" movie?
Yes, I'm in the background of 60% of it.
Ha, my word is 'roide.'
6:32
grip was the only issue with this one, used small iron plates so none of the reps touched the ground, used my basketball med ball to judge the distance, but def harder on the grip.
5:51!!! Felt strong and hitting the lifts with a good rhythm.
