some things i'm looking at right now, thought i'd share

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/26793903/the_big_takeover/1
great article on the massacre happening in the US...funny shit that i got to see first hand while down there...all there was on TV was march madness and TV shows and commercials based on how you can save money in these "tough economic times"

http://health.blogs.foxnews.com/2009/03/30/fat-burning-foods/
a wonderful insight into what i am up against daily...clients asking me about articles like this and why they should be eating what these "experts" recommend...interesting

http://www.inspiredlife.ca/organic_baby_formula/
a good formula i just discovered that can help some moms in need of good nourishment for their child along with or without breastfeeding...there are not many choices...i've researched what Mercola, Weston A Price , Jordan Rubin and others recommend and for ease of use and the time it takes to prepare these other concoctions this one might just work well...

Hey OPT, I like the second article. I go through the same thing with my troops that are on my program. What about this, what about that, can I still drink a 12 pack every night? ARGH!!! Makes me want to just slap them at times. Thanks for all that you do>

A CBC article by Neil Macdonald about the foreclosure-tours-R-us tours available in Florida now. Some towns have foreclosure rates over 60%

"Fat burning foods"... You have to be kidding! The world is flooded with people only looking to make profit off other people’s ignorance. It’s disgusting. I remember an article by Greg Everett about professionalism and how it’s close to formal behavior. Treat people with respect and spread your knowledge to other people in your field. Most people don't do this.
I'm halfway through "The Great Cholesterol Con" by Anthony Colpo. So far he has given me a new perspective on the authorities. It’s sickening how we've been deluded throughout history by the authorities.

I'm 16-years old and considering a career related to nutrition and training. But how does one influence the government who's too stubborn to realize the truth? Hmm... I've got to come up with a plan.

Off topic but for those into MMA, Cameron a friend and someone I had a hand in introducing to the sport is on Ultimate Fighter 9 which premiers this evening.

Man, the upper body is still feeling the effects of this last cycle. Tough one indeed...

Brent, how are you involved with that show?

Brent Maier said...

I don't have ties to the show but have taught and trained with many olympic athletes and professional fighters. I spent 12 years training in Omaha with Jeremy Horn and other great athletes back when UFC first started. I rolled with Jeremy the night before he flew out to fight Frank Shamrock and gave him the fight of his life. Then I moved to Colorado Springs and started training athletes in my spare time for local shows and larger events like Ring of Fire.

Cameron is young and has some great commercial flare about him. If your a good fighter, have flare and can put on a show, you've got a decent chance of getting your foot in the door.

Man... I found Crossfit as a conditioning program and it kind of took over for me. What's so tough about Crossfit is when you try imposing your will on some cold steel, it is unphased and only smiles back with a black tooth grin.

I think we should give James a new name... AOP (Architect of Pain)... because my body is still hurting from this last cycle.
