OPT,
I am doing my crossfit level one cert on Feb 13th and 14th.
Should I still train on these days early in the morning? I was told that we will be doing some shorter metcons throughout the day. Should I just do these and skip your training that weekend?

LuLu,
I was fortunate enough to workout with the trainers (dmarsh WHOOOFF) during their lunch wod, so maybe that will be a possibility for you? If not, I am sure the tabata squats, fran and team wod should be enough :)

Shout out to CHRIS DUNKIN, i just got your jumprope handles, these look really nice, much thanks!!

LuLu,
I would heed GC's advice here...plenty of opportunities to put in some work over those two days. Like GC, I have seen some participants sneak in a lunchtime WOD as well.

GC,
WHOOOFF indeed! Looking forward to seeing you and David again in Montclair.

Dawgs, I'm off to Kansas with my bro for some bird hunting all weekend. Feeling the hip flexors and abs today! See you guys on the next cycle.

OPT,
I'm competing in the Garage Games at the intermediate level next weekend and was wondering if I should just follow the training as scheduled or go lighter? Any suggestions? Thank you for your programming, it's done wonders for my performance.

Thought I would wait for a rest day page to ask this. Since starting Crossfit a few months ago, and jumping feet first into OPT programming on Dec 29 09. I was wondering if there are any "unwritten rules" for this blog, as I respect the work that goes into this, and for those that have followed it from the begining, I thought I would ask.
I also get as much info as I can from all the websites, but feel like I could benifit from posting some vids for help on my form from time to time, and it looks like that is cool to do here, but thought I would ask as well, before I started doing so.
OPT thanks for the great program, and thanks to all the Dawgs for giving me something to strive for in my level of fitness, playing catch up, but I will get there!

Question,

Im competing in the Alaska sectional in March. They have already released their workouts.

http://games2010.crossfit.com/qualifiers/alaska-events-announced.html

Is their anything I should start supplementing this training with since I have the added benefit of knowing a month out what the events will be, or just continue on course with the programming?

Samantha, go back and review some weeks prior to past competitions...from Games 09 onward...and you'll see a trend in the high intensity and low volume prior to comps...hope that helps

heavy, if you post them there are lots out there who can give help...try and see...
